The Christmas season can become way too busy and pressured producing too much stress. Why do we let it happen? Peer pressure….plain and simple. We convince ourselves that we must do more and buy more, just as the world demands. Stop, take a deep breath….and realize that the wonder and beauty of Christ’s birth can be acknowledged and celebrated on a daily basis without a lot of fanfare. Yes, it’s nice to set aside a special day and celebrate with family and friends – but that can be done without tiring us and our bank accounts completely out. Set your priorities, keep a simple plan, do a little each day, and take time to relax. Relax physically and spiritually. Concentrate on praising God and thanking Him for His blessings. You probably won’t get everything done, but it will be ok! God bless you and Merry Christmas!........ECB |
